What is Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS)?

Surrounds individuals/families with services and resources necessary to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency.

CCSS Addresses independent living in differing functional domains:

Independent living-for an adult- inability to maintain housing due to mental illness; for youth- inability to maintain safety without assistance, lack of age-appropriate behavioral controls.

Learning and education- adult- ability to learn is impacted; youth- failing grades

Working- inability to sustain employment, poor relationships in the workplace

Socializing- difficulty maintaining and sustaining relationships with peers, and/or adults

Recreation- difficulty with group activities or structuring and utilizing leisure time
