New Horizons Counseling Center, LLC (NHCC) was founded in 2001 with a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care that creates real change.

What began as a vision to provide ethical, client-centered counselling services has grown into a trusted behavioral health organization serving youth and families across New Mexico. From the beginning, NHCC has been committed to meeting communities where they are, providing accessible services that strengthen families, empower youth, and build healthier futures.

 

Built on Integrity and Clinical Excellence

NHCC was intentionally structured on strong governance, clear policies, and a deep respect for regulatory compliance, not just to “meet standards,” but to exceed them. Our internal policy and procedure framework reflects our commitment to accountability, quality assurance, and ethical practice.

We believe that excellent care requires strong systems. That’s why NHCC maintains robust clinical supervision, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous staff development to ensure services remain evidence-based, culturally responsive, and effective.

 

Youth-Focused, Family-Centered

Through Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS) and other therapeutic programs, NHCC focuses on helping youth and families navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. Our work is grounded in relationship building, trust, restoring stability, and supporting long-term success in homes, schools, and communities.
